Have a quick read of this story about an Adelaide woman who sent $30,000 to a Nigerian scammer so he could come to Australia to visit her. Part of me feels sorry for her, but the other 99% says ARE YOU F*%@KING STUPID!?
But imagine if you were actually a Nigerian male looking for love. You [...]

So I made my television debut on breakfast television on Tuesday in the hallowed halls of Channel 31. I loved it, it was like make believe in a cubby house, with pretend cameras an’ all. It’s fair to say I’m not reaching for the baseball cap and oversized sunglasses on my way out to the shops.
I was [...]

I have recently seen two movies, and in my eagerness to remember to review them on the blog, I jotted their names down in my Moleskine.*
When I came to read my notes I saw “Review Transformers Knocked Up”. “Ooh,” I thought, channelling Frank Spencer and then hating myself, “imagine if that were a movie.”

I cannot speak highly enough of the new Channel Seven show at 9.30 on Thursday nights, Age of Love.

Stuff Friday the 13th and bad luck - you just KNOW it’s going to be a magical day when you hear Vanilla Ice’s ‘Ice Ice baby’ on the radio on the way to work. 8.33am and I’ve peaked - how could the day get any better?

Melbourne man James Hope is devasted after his girlfriend dumped him on Tuesday, claiming his dad jokes “really weren’t funny”.
“She had told me heaps of times before that my jokes sucked, but I thought she secretly found them endearing,” said Hope.
“Turns out she wasn’t being funny – she really does hate my corny jokes.”
Hope’s girlfriend, [...]

You may have noticed that in recent weeks I have been tinkering around the edges of what makes a particular blog entry go gangbusters. I am shocked and dismayed that it is not quality writing that sends stuff off the charts. For example, after writing about The Mad Shaved-headed Mimer* last week, views of the [...]
